This is a good, quick, easy weeknight recipe. Great flavors. As a few reviewers noted already, my breadcrumbs started browning in the first few minutes under the broiler so I moved the fish to the bottom once the crumbs were nicely done, and then it turned out just fine in the time stated. I also used Panko instead of fresh bread crumbs and it turned out just great.

Super easy and quick , my family loves them , the only thing i have problem with is the broiler , 3 minutes into the broiler , the bread crumbs almost burnt , so i ended up putting them in at 350 F for 15 minutes . Still works well but would like to have the bread crumbs not burnt while under broiler next time .

Excellent recipe, I've noticed that Emeril uses his Essence spice in a couple of recipes, so I've made a large batch of it and keep it on hand now. Very easy and quick recipe, I will definitely use this again.

One of the best fish recipes I have ever made. Will definately make this again. I baked the catfish at 350 degrees instead of broiling and it turned out great. Do not flip the fish over halfway through cooking!

This was delicious! I followed the directions step by step and ended up having a restaurant quality gourmet fish dinner. This is a great alternative for folks who love catfish, but want to avoid fried catfish (which seems to be the most common way to eat catfish.

This recipe was superb. Loved it because I did not want to fry the catfish. It was extremely tasty.

This recipe was so easy. Catfish is not one of my favorite fish, but this recipe made the catfish tender and delicious. Even though I did not use fresh thyme, it was still delicious. I'm sure it would have been even better if I had used fresh thyme and breadcrumbs.

I made this recipe last night for dinner. It was Friday, during lent, and I was looking for an new recipe to try on some Tilapia fillets I had in the freezer. This recipe caught my eye, as it looked easy and quick. I decided to give it a go. I followed the recipe as stated with one exception, I used plain bread crumbs from a box and I added a little of the Essences seasoning to the breadcrumbs for flavor. My Tilapia fillets were on the big side, so I ended up needing more breadcrumbs to cover. The fish turned out very tasty and the result was lovely. I will definitely make this recipe again. Thank you Emeril for another yummy recipe.
