Steak was delicious. Cabbage was good, will use less lime in the future, also only used 1.5 tbs Asian hot chili sauce. The scallops on the other hand were not good. The sesame seeds+oil overpowered the natural flavor of the sea scallops. Scallops were an unnecessary addition to the steak and cabbage salad meal.

HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will make this again but I will change a few things. My husband and I like spicy food so I put only 1/2 of what was called for on the asian chili sauce next time I will totally omit it. It was SO spicy I could not even let my daughter eat it, we barely ate it ourselves. Next time I will cook the steak on the grill instead of the skillet.

Just tried the steak marinade and it really was delicious! It was also moist because it was cooked in a pan as opposed to the broiler. I didn't try the rest of the recipe but I was impressed by how flavorful the steak was.

I made the cabbage slaw and then put steak on top of it but i didn't marinade the steak as directed. The slaw was very tasty and went great with steak!

The steak here was awesome, but the cabbage salad wasn't very good. I think it had great potential, but the seasoning was a little off. It came out too vinegary and I only used the juice of one lime and it still had too much lime. I'll probably make this again but with a lot of alterations.

Definately took more than 30 minutes. Sauce for the cabbage tasted slightly "off" to me but the teriyaki, fresh ginger, and grill seasoning combo I will definately use again on my steaks!

I have searched for the best Teriyaki recipe for years never quite finding that perfect one until now. This is beautiful because of its simplicity and its delicious. My wife wants this all the time now and we love the cabbage. We are huge cabbage fans. We didnt make the scallops. I cut the time down to 3 minutes per side. Thats all I changed. Also to keep the steak flat and stop spatters I cook in large cast iron skillet, cover with foil and set large pot of water for weight on top. Works great.

My husband and I are not big fans of cabbage, but this recipe made us love it. I used NY Strip steaks and the meal was fantastic.
