    Everyone raves about this strata. It's so delicious. I do suggest you use pre-grated cheese and sun-dried tomatoes to make the prep easier. I love the "prep the night before" part of the recipe. It made my Christmas morning breakfast a snap. I have also served it for dinner which worked wonderfully.

    This recipe needs work. The 2lbs of tomatoes yielded less than 1 cup when overn dried. This flavour of ordinary ham is not strong enough; perhaps pancetta and a bit more of it. I used a well aged cheddar and quite a bit more cheese than called for. I'll make it again, though. The flavour is excellent.
