I read other people's comments before making this recipe. I made it with 2 1/2 cups of flour and 1 1/2 beers It made a puffy crispy crust. I omitted soaking the rings in milk and they turned out great..

One of the best onion rings I have ever had, I used home grown white onions instead of spanish onions and they turned out great. I also used the batter on jalapenos which turned out very good as well.

i just eyeballed this ingredients... because i didn't need to make as much.. and it was delicious. if the batter is too thick, then just use less flour or add more bear...for it to be like pancake batter.

I did not dip the onions in milk because I was to impatient and just eyeballed the ingridients and it turned out great. They were golden light and crispy. Will do it again.

Batter was too thick and onions were hidden by the thick tasting batter. Batter also did not turn brown when fried so was hard to figure out if done.
