    It's a great recipe. I doubled it with a few changes. I followed the suggestions and doubled the sugar. Then instead of the pecans I put on a double layer of mini marshmellows during the last 10 minutes of cooking. They turned out great and the people at the potluck church dinner I took them to agreed. There were other sweet potato dishes there, but mine was the only one completely gone.

    I added a few mini marshmallows to the top of this casserole. The sweet potato fans at my house were in heaven with this recipe.

    I liked this recipe because it wasn't as sweet or overly rich as other recipes for sweet potatoes I've tried. Great sweet potato taste and the pecans are a nice accent.

    I made this recipe this year for Thanksgiving (though I tweaked a bit and it came out fantastic! A new family favorite. I added about 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla, a couple extra shakes of cinnamon, and made a streusal topping out of the pecans, flour, brown sugar and butter. With the topping, it had the perfect amount of sweetness. DELICIOUS. Definitely try it for a nice holiday treat.
