    The buttermilk soak was a good idea, the tomatoes were flavourful and tender. I used a medium grind cornmeal and found it was too gritty. I will try it again with a finer cornmeal, and a bit more seasoning.

    I do truly love it, and did it with turkey bacon ( crumps on top of it , next time, i might not be addin' the sugar to this recipe. Very tasty, and a bit sweet.

    I found this to be a good recipe that even a teenager can work with and with great resaults. The buttermilk and the cornmeal make the best combo!!

    This recipes is delicious! It reminds me of how we did it when I was a kid. The cayenne adds just the right spice to the tomatoes. I make a dijon mayo sauce to go with them.
