Made them last night for food day at work today. Took a little longer than I expected - about 1.5 hours total - but I've never made deviled eggs before. I used imitation crab meat because fresh crab isn't easily available here. For the crab meat, I suggest finely chopping or maybe pulsing in a food processor so the lumps aren't so big and it's easier to mix and stuff. I sprinkled paprika on top instead of garnish. Very good taste and reviews from my coworkers.

I thought it sounded like it would be good but once I made it and tasted it I thought...what was I thinking? Crab and boiled egg do not taste good together.

This was so good! I made it for a babyshower and it was a big hit. I think I will add more hot sauce next time I make it though!

I recently threw my father a surprise retirement party. I am a person who loves junk food. So the party goers were expecting junk food. What they found was a party catered my me. All of the food was great, but the crabmeat deviled eggs were the favorite. We always have deviled eggs, but these were definitely kicked up a notch!! As MD residents we always enjoy adding crabmeat to any summer staple!!

easy, quick, but just different enough. I substituted rolled anchovies for the caviar for my unpretentious guests.

We made this for a bbq party and it was a huge hit. We made 2 dozen eggs and all but 6 were gone before the dinner even started. I am definitely going to make this again.

I've taken this to several pot luck parties...always a hit! Since not everyone likes cavier, I usually top half the eggs with cavier and the other half with an olive slice, a sprig of herb or whatever I have on hand that sounds good. Great recipe!

Great idea, but didn't live up to my expectations.
