I made this for the first time for a family Thanksgiving and everyone loved it. This is better that pumpkin pie any day and I'll be making it again this year!

Have made this for two Thanksgivings, Christmas and work gatherings and everyone loves it! I use an immersion blender to ensure that the batter is smooth. So yummy!

This recipe was so easy to make! I left out the cloves and added a bit more cinnamon and nutmeg and a little less sugar. It turned out great!! My husband loved it!!!!!

This was the first pie I ever made on my own (meaning, without the help of my mom or grandmother, ha!.. My boyfriend loves sweet potato pie, and I was barely able to get a piece of it, so I guess it turned out pretty well : It was quite tasty!

This was a very easy sweet potato pie recipie! It was delicious and my family loved it. The texture and consistency of this pie are fabulous. I too would use a whole can of sweetened condensed milk and omit sugar all together.

I made this pie for Thanksgiving and it is excellent. I was looking for a recipe for a sweet potato pie that had ingredients that my mom use to use. This is it and then some. It is fabulous. I was baking at 3 in the morning and forgot to put in the eggs and the pie was still OFF THE CHAIN!!!! The crust is awesome, too- had never made a good one until this recipe. God bless you Christel!

I make the pie with the entire can of sweetened condensed milk but then put in NO additional sugar. Makes for a balanced level of sweetness and increases the creaminess.
I also like to add a tablespoon or two of bourbon or rum to kick up the flavor a little.
Other than that, this pie is delicious - I make it all the time in the fall.
