Outstanding! For a family of five, I would cut this in half.

Ah, lingonberry jam, the ketchup of Sweden. My Swedish family always rolled the pancakes up with the jam inside.

My swedish mother's version of swedish pancakes includes sugar but adds 1 tsp. ground cardamom. This recipe also work great as waffles - use heart-shaped waffle iron.

Good recipe, similar to what my Swedish Grandmother used to make, except sub vanilla for sugar.

It's kinda like pancake al dente. I really liked it even without letting it sit in the fridge.

These are agreat treat and this makes a great base for adding cream cheese or other crepe style toppings.

To make into a meal, try this --

    Follow directions above except:
    - substitute milk for buttermilk
    - remove skin, dice and fry two of your favorite kielbasa sausages
    - Add a diced a Mayan sweet, Walla Walla sweet, or favorite sweet onion
    - Add a bag of plain, frozen, shredded potatos to mix (unsalted, no added oil
    - Add an extra half cup of sugar
    - Serve with apple sauce on the side

This becomes a meal everyone will love.

It is very easy to prepare, my family loves it very much and you can keep it in the refrigerator for a couple of days.

These are the best pancakes iv'e ever had. Even without the lingonberries. There so good that they've became a family tradition. This recipe makes alot of pancakes. And just to warn you 1 or 2 of these will get you full. If you were to ask my family what they wanted for breakfast it would be a no brainer. If you have guests it is a very good meal.
