I really enjoy the unique flavors of this sandwich. The Goat Cheese really kicks it up a notch. I prepare it with what hamburger buns more than ciabatta rolls because they are harder to fine. Both ways are exceptional. Love the fresh salmon too. Excellent recipe!!

We loved this delicious sandwich! The only thing we changed was using Emeril's Bayou Blast seasoning instead of making our own. My mouth is watering just thinking about it and we'll have to make it again soon.

I couldn't find the Ciabatta roll at the store.
I used Sesame hamburger buns instead.
And I didn't use the cajun seasoing.
    I used hot sauce instead.

I sliced up tomato, lettuce, and red onion and placed them on bread.
And mixed goat cheese, lemon juice, pepper, and mayo, and spread them
on bread. I didn't have parsley.

I cooked the fish in pan and then in oven.

And I ate the sandwich. It was very good.

I loved this recipe! It helps to be a salmon fan. This man can put some ingredients together! To the reviewer who gave this 1 star, please STOP reviewing recipes w/o trying them out first. You're doing a disservice & not giving an accurate rating. Cooking involves putting things together including, spices! Please do us all a favor & drive through McDonald's & spare us your input!

I am really having good luck with this new guy's recipes. The bacon french fries, the steak with plantains, the corn chip chicken strips (duh--choose some chips the kids like and smash them up for breading--brilliant! It makes me sad that a delicious sandwich like this has a low rating because someone who has no clue how to cook rates it without even trying the recipe. I almost didn't try it but thank goodness I read the reviews. I cooked the salmon on the grill on a cedar plank--just cuz I don't like cooking fish inside and getting the house all stinky--and it turned out great. Try this recipe!

I watched the next food network star and wished that I could taste the dishes. I got my chance. This was totally an easy recipe. Dumping some spices in a bowl and mixing them is so not hard. It was very tasty, too. The goat cheese and lemon mayo was the perfect compliment to the seafood seasoning mixture. I have made a couple of Aaron McCargo's other recipes and they were great too!

Be sure not to over cook the salmon when it's browing on the stove top. Do a high heat sear then into the oven for best results. Lovered the lemom goat cheese butter. My wife hates goat cheese so I made hers' with garlic & herb cheese by alouette.....she loved it

I made this for dinner tonight and it was a big hit. I did modify it slightly because I didn't want it to spicy. I definitely plan to serve this again.

This was simple to make and fantastic! I've got plenty of the seasoning left over and can't wait to try it on other seafood, pork, chicken, etc. The salmon was so amazing that I decided not to put it on a sandwich because I didn't want the flavor to be drowned out by the sandwich itself. I did use only 1/2 tsp of cayenne in the seasoning because I don't like things too spicy. It had just enough kick to it without burning my mouth. And I also used only 1/2 TBSP butter and it was still plenty.
