All though it took me longer than 30 min. to make it, it was not because it was not easy it was because I am a horrible chopper! By far this was the better than than the regular sauce I make, that takes all day to make. Plus my husband who is very picky loved it! Big btownie point for me!
Thanks so much for making me a "domestic goddess". Even though I sometimes have little time to boil water!

I had been hearing about Rachel Ray from the Channel 2 News team and so searched till I found the Food Network. I'm now hooked as well as my husband. We were tired of the same old thing and the first show and receipe was for Christmas Pasta. I though "Gee, I could do that!" So we rushed out and bought all the ingredients and besides easy it tasted sooo good! I can't wait to try more of Rachels recipes. Way to go Rach! EVOO!!

We really loved this. I couldn't find pancetta in our small city (meat people had not even heard of it-went to 2 grocery stores and 1 meat market so I used regular bacon. I also substituted sweet Italian sausage because my sweetie doesn't like spicy. Rachael was right...this does get better the next day. I had to chuckle about the servings though. We are pretty big eaters but I fed 4 people with this the first time and had enough for 2 more meals for 2 people. I would definately make this again because it was sooo different from regular grocery store pasta sauce. And it was really easy to prepare even though it has a lot of ingredients.

The first time I made this I had a hard time finding a couple of the ingredients but it was so worth it in the end. I have made this many times now and always let it simmer a lot longer. She is right when she says it only gets better. I now make it in double batches and freeze it for later use. Everyone in my family loves it.

I made it for our Christmas Eve dinner. It was delicious! Such a wonderful hearty sauce. The left over sauce tasted even better a few days later. Does Rachel Rule, or what!!!

I was alittle surprised with the onion and celery in the pasta sauce, but it was delicious. I served it Christmas Day with the rest of Christmas dinner, Ham, Citrus Cornish game hen, and all the trimmings. My family and friends loved it. Will make this again. Had to use bacon instead of pancetta, couldn't get it around here, but it worked out great. Love your show Rachel!

Okay, it took a few more minutes to make this sauce, but it was well worth the 15 extra minutes that it took to prepare. I only hope that it freezes well because the recipe made so much. I added a teaspoon of Kosher salt and two teaspoons of sugar. Great results.
