Ok, I did not make the gnocchi from scratch, but I have made the coulis multiple times. I used frozen gnocchi and served with the coulis. It is a great summer dish with fresh Jersey tomatoes, and good with or without the cheese. Very tasty.

It's not a very vegetarian recipe when it calls for chicken stock. I substituted veggie broth.
