I followed the recipe but made three layers in a square pan instead of two. It was my first attempt at tiramisu and it turned out wonderfully! It was a big hit. Now to figure out what to do with the rest of the sweet Marsala!

This recipe is excellent, I would not make tiramisu any other way. My husband inhaled it in about 3 seconds flat. I halved the recipe since we were only making it for ourselves, and I also divided it among three individual square baking dishes lined with plastic wrap (resulting in a two-layer tiramisu rather than three. After cooling I inverted the tiramisu onto a nice platter, removed the plastic wrap, and then dusted with cocoa powder and chocolate shavings. Makes a nicer presentation I think. The recipe though, is A+ and I highly recommend using the Marsala wine -- I know other reviewers have recommended Kahlua but I think the Marsala is more elegant and authentic.

This is better than many orders of Tiramisu that I have had in restaurants! Amazing to easily make this at home- I did use Kahlua as other reviewers have mentioned. Make this...You will NOT be disappointed.

This is the best dessert ever! Have made it lots of times, ever since I first saw it done on Calling All Cooks. This recipe cannot be beat and I have tried several Tiramisu recipes. Gets rave reviews from all my friends who have tried it. I love making it for dessert when I have friends over after a great Italian meal.

This is excellent! I've been making this recipes for years now and bring it to our friends' annual Xmas Eve party...they now call me "tiramiSUE" (Sue's my name!. We/They look forward to eating it every year and I always get compliments, even from their pastry chef relative. Recently, I switched it up and omitted the marsala and espresso and macerated berries (for about an hour in sugar/lemon juice until syrupy. A layer of [hard] lady fingers dipped in milk, poured berries on top, spreading them until evenly distributed. Spread 1/2 of the cream/mascarpone on top, more milk-dipped lady fingers and then the rest of the cream/mascarpone. It was perfect for a kid-(and adult friendly BBQ. You can either mash some of the berries, which I did, to add to the amount of syrup that gets all absorbed by the lady fingers! Placed it in the fridge overnight, grated some dark chocolate on top and YUM!!

The best tiramisu EVER! Absolutely divine! I have been using this recipe for about 6 years. My husband won't eat tiramisu anywhere else anymore. I made it for a friends party and the caterer said it was the best she ever had.

I have been looking for a recipe that only had a few ingredients, but I wanted something with more than just an egg yolk/marscapone filling and this recipe was perfect! It is so simple to make and the addition of the whipped cream in the marscapone mixture made it so light and creamy. Sometimes I find the filling in tiramisu to be a bit too dense. It is definitely better if you give it a day in the refrigerator, and for my personal taste I use Kahlua instead :

I have been making this recipe for about 5 or 6 years. It is the easiest and best dessert ever. Whenever I make it now, I just print out several copies of the recipe to hand out because everyone flips over how fantastic it is and wants the recipe. This was a great find. Thank you.

This is one of the best tiramisu recipes that I have ever tried! I used Kahlua as someone suggested and it turned out wonderfully!
