I listened to those who complained of blandness and made the following alterations: I added extra garlic, zest and juice of one lemon and a half tsp of mustard powder. Fantastic! If you've ever secretly wished you could just eat spinach artichoke dip with a spoon for dinner, this is your casserole! Just make sure you REALLY wring all the water from the spinach.

I have been making this dish for over 7 years and it comes out excellent everytime and is well received. It can be used for any meal of the day or a side snack at a party or gathering. I had men eating 2-3 pieces and loving it at an oyster roast until their wives told them it had spinach in it, then they would not eat it. Their problem. The only thing I do different is add some hot sauce to it. It has been a hit everytime ever since I first saw the show many years ago. Maybe thos that had it turn out runny don't sweat their mushrooms enough. got to get all the water out. Good recipe Emeril.

This recipe was much easier to make than I expected. It is delicious the next day and a great potluck dish.

Followed the recipe, it was runny and very bland. I didn't like this particular recipe.

It was a good recipe but I wasn't crazy about the ricotta cheese in it. I think next time I used sour cream instead.

This recipe is good, but not quite the texture I was hoping for. Tastes great, though, and keeps for a while in the fridge. We had leftovers for several days!

I kicked up the pepper call and added some other spices to this dish but it still came out a little bland.

It was a good recipe but I like dishes with more flavor.

The only change I made to the recipe was to make it sans mushrooms. It was a big hit around my house.
