This is a delicious, hearty soup. I have used it as both an appetizer or as a meal. My guests have raved.

This recipe has all three factors making it a hit. It's easy to follow and shop for. It tastes great. And last but not least-it has a beautiful orange color making for an appetizing presentation.

This was so delicious! I did use ground rather than chopped fresh marjoram and basil but it still turned out great! The warm pumpkin color of the soup is great for the fall, and it was so creamy and hearty. I added a touch of cayenne pepper for a little kick but other than that, made it exactly the same as the recipe states.

This squash soup was perfect for a cool and rainy fall day. It was absolutely out of this world prepared exactly as instructed.

What more needs to be said? I must admit that I cheat a little by not straining and not frying the sage leaves. It's still darn good though!

This soup has abeen a favorite in my house since I first made it over 2 years ago. My mother-in-law makes it in her restaurant and its a big hit there as well. YUM!

I have got to say that this is possibly the best soup that I have ever eaten in my life. Every time that I make it, everyone is asking for the recipe. I have also substituted the squash for potatoes when I don't have squash readily available. It's also much better with hot italian sausage if you have the palet for a little heat.

this is great soup and freezes well - the flavor was still great - i did not strain the soup and like the chunks in the soup and definitely will make it again especially since i can freeze and pull out for a quick lunch

I substituted Emeril's chicken and dried tomato sausage for the Italian sausage and it created great flavors.. all my friends loved it.
