I made the ham sandwich but used provolone instead of sharp cheddar just because I don't care for sharp cheddar. This was different and really good!

My teenagers made this and are planning to make their new "fancy" grilled cheese sandwiches to impress their friends!
Perfect w/ the Quick Chick and Noodle Soup from the same episode! I had both on the table in 45 minutes!

I love the idea of taking something familiar and updating it! After a long day at work, I'm tired and not up for trying a complicated recipe. Now I can make something quick and easy and still impress my family with a creative twiost on the same-old, same-old! I love the ham, cheddar and apple one that Rachael made and I love my own creation - salami, american cheese and onion on sourdough. Using the George Forman Grill makes clean up a snap too! Thanks, Rachael!
