Wasn't what I expected. The cupcakes are moist and do fall apart. Glaze was too sweet. Don't plan on making them again.

These cupcakes are delicious. You can only make them as minis because they do fall apart, but they are perfect as single bite cupcakes. I have never made the strawberry glaze, just the cupcakes and they always get eaten in a flash!!

These cupcakes are so tasty and moist. They do seem to be very crumbly, not sure how to fix that. I, however did not make the strawberry glaze, I have used can icing..one strawberry and one buttercream. Both very yummy!

I must say I was dissapointed. While the cupcakes turned out well, I used Pilsbury white cake mix, I didn't think it was a good use of mascarpone due to the price of and 8oz tub, and that while very moist, they still taste like box mix.
The cupcakes were falling apart and stuck to the liners.

The glaze made a HUGE batch and the stawberry flavor was barely there; the powdered sugar was overwhelming. The glaze was too runny.

I would not personally make this recipe again.

I'm not a big fan of anything "cake", however I made these for a party and absolutely loved them! I thought they were even good without the glaze! I have now made these cupcakes many times! Thank You!

These were really good! They did tend to fall apart but they were really moist and yummy. The glaze was a little sweet but not bad.

Sorry Giada, but these cupcakes were awful! They did puff up and baked to a beautiful golden color... But they had no substance. When I peeled away the liner the cupcake fell apart! Tried a second batch, same result!

Love these! Super moist. The kids LOVED these. The glaze was a bit too sweet for me though. I will definitely be making these often.

i made these over the weekend and everyone loved them! i had to add water to the frosting, but it was delicious and hardened nicely on top of the cupcakes. these would be perfect for a shower - they are bite sized and just melt in your mouth. definitely a keeper. thanks giada!

These were pretty darn good. I substituted buttermilk for the water (plus about 5 tablespoons of water and they came out reallllly light and fluffy. They did not taste like a boxed mix at all. I used regular sized cupcake pans. The only problem I had was with the glaze... and that is my fault. I just winged the strawberry puree and sugar and it was a tad bit too thin, but it set up fine after an hour in the fridge and tasted yummy! Added bonus: I hate the taste of red/pink food coloring so these were oh so pretty without the aftertaste!
Even after two days in the fridge, they were still light and fluffy!
    Yum!
