We made this last night for "Halloween movie night" and called them "Witche"s fingers". We dipped them in a mixture of equal parts ranch dressing and salsa. Soooooooo gooooooood!!! The whole family just LOVED eating them. I also added a little cajun seasoning to the flour as well as the salt and pepper. I also had a vidalia onlon and cut it up and fried it up too. A great treat for the family. Thank you so much for this great recipe. We will be making this many times in the future!

Gina and Pat! Y'all got it goin' on! These fried green beans are just unbelievably good and so easy! Everyone I see (including the checkers at the grocery stores, I tell about this recipe! I even use Bud Lite beer! The batter is just as awesome for fried pickles! I'm going to try the batter with asparagus and yellow squash. Keep up the good work. I love your show, the best on the Food Network now! Chaleygirl in Grenada, MS

I made this as a side dish with my mac n cheese and sausage for dinner tonight.. There were great!!! Will certaintly be making these again... The only thing I did different was I used canola oil because I didn't have paenut oil. But they were still great...

We've been trying to cut back on some of the carbs in our diet and this made a great mid-range choice. I backed off the flour a bit and tossed in a touch of panko for a little extra crispness.

We just picked 3 big bowls of green beans from the garden and thought we would try this recipe with some of them, we all thought they were very good dipped in ranch dressing, even our 5 year old daughter loved them!

My kids are not big fans of green beans and they actually ate these. I gave them a bit of ranch dressing to dip and they did not even use it! Come on Neely's, come out with a cookbook already! I'm using too much paper printing all these recipes!

After seeing fried green beans on this morning's show, I looked in my vegetable garden and found that I had a whole lot of green beans to pick. I picked them and tried this recipe. They were great!

I did have to add approx. 1/4 C. more flour. My batter wasn't thick enough. I also made cheeseburgers on the grill with grilling beans. The fried green beans tasted better than french fries (better for you too!

Thanks for the easy and quick green bean recipe idea for a lazy Saturday summer night ...
