Simple enough, but the top of the pudding was very dry. maybe I baked too long.

This recipe was over the top! I am not a fan of bread pudding, but I tried this recipe w a RECIPE REEEMIX and it was a hit.

I used soy milk and Italian Panatone (Trader Joe's and omitted the raisins bc the Panatone has raisins in it and it was so darn good. I was doing a test run and only did half the recipe bc I wasn't sure how it would turn out and my mother and I ate the whole thing in one night! It was ridiculous delicious. Thank you Neely's KUDOS!

I love bread pudding, but had never tried to make it. Tried this recipe and it is delicious. A friend dubbed it "Cinnabon Delicious". I make a sauce with powdered sugar and rum to go on the top as you serve it. You will make this again and again if you try it once.

What a great bread pudding. We didn't have any rum, so just used rum flavoring but it didn't make any difference - still absolutely wonderful. We used Challah (egg bread and it was terrific. Add in a good vanilla ice cream and it's a winner!

This is the best dessert I have ever made or eaten!! Absolutely loved it as did my wife. I followed the recipe exactly, with the exception of using golden raisins. I have had bread pudding in the past and always thought I could take it or leave it. I made this one day as I was bored and had some stale bread on-hand. I had a 6-pack of sandwich sized (plain white french bread rolls and I used four rolls minus the tips of the heels. Now, I plan on making this our family's new holiday dessert. I registered with Foodnetwork just so I could leave this review!!

    Thanks Neelys, no really...THANKS NEELYS!!!!

I always try your recipes. This recipe I deviated slightly. I used Jack Daniels instead of rum and I added walnuts for some crunch. It tastes delicious! I rarely make bread pudding but since I had some small loafs of bread that I needed to do something with before they got stale; I thought "BREAD PUDDING" Needless to say I then came to see what the Neeley's had on bread pudding. It is really so simple to make. Thank you for the idea! I love your show!!!

This recipe is the bomb...I used old hotdog and hamburger buns from a cookout. I also added the Irish Cream and sprinkled the top with brown sugar and sliced almonds. Now thats GOOD EATS.

This is a great dessert!!! My husband and I love bread pudding, so we were a little skeptical!!! Boy we're we wrong!!! The only changes I made to the recipe is adding rum extract vs. the rum (we have 2 small boys.
Thank you Neelys for the wonderful recipe and keep doing what you do, cuz you guys are awesome!!!!!
