This recipe was amazing! I've had restaurant jambalaya on several occasions and always found it rather bland. This dish was packed with flavor, and my 2-year-old even loved it. I cooked everything in the afternoon except for the shrimp, and left it warming on low. Right before dinnertime, I tossed in the shrimp. Lots of chopping and prep, but well worth it!

We all loved it and it will be come a staple for entertaining. I used fresh chicken andouille sausage and that was great. Easy to make too.

Very good recipe. I agree most of the time goes into prep but overall easy to make, plan about an hour though. I added a little white wine when I added the broth which I liked. The thyme at the end did add a nice flavor.

Hey I read through allot of the Jambalaya recipes, and decided to go with this one. The prep took the longest, but the dish was simply awesome, this is going to become one of my favourites, we used a good Chorizo sausage, which I think is where most of that good flavour comes from.

I loved it and so did my family. I tried it as an alternate choice to the traditional ham dinner we usually have for Easter and it was the best dish of the day.

Great recipe. It had tons of flavor and was so easy to make. I used a rotisserie chicken, which saved me loads of time, and Cajun style andouille sausage, which had a nice smoky flavor. It didn't have enough heat for my tastes, so if you like spicy, definitely add in more cayenne or Tabasco than it calls for. The whole family loved this, so it's definitely a keeper.
