I followed this recipe exactly! I'm a good cook so I know it wasn't anything I did. It took way over 30 minutes and was absolutely bland and tasteless. The only time in my life I threw an entire meal down the garbage disposal... While I love to watch her, I'm just not that impressed with Rachael Ray's cooking. I'll stick to Ina Garten, Giada Dilaurentis, Bobby Flay, or Dave Lieberman, who ARE superb cooks. Sorry, Rachael.....

This is absolutely wonderful, didn't change the recipe at all. It's pretty easy to put together as well. My husband and I loved it and I will definitely make it again

I made this dish without any problems and the result was fantastic! My entire family requested this dish as a weekly treat!

I've been a big fan of Rachels cooking show for years. Ive often wondered if anyone actually tastes the food after she makes it. Now I know. This was the first of her recipies I thought looked good enough to try.
There is no way I could crank out this dinner in 1/2 hour and have it tasted "finished." Sure, you could eat it after 30 minutes, but I dont recommend it.

First of all, the dish was OK, but just OK. I thought it would be better because of all the rave reviews it got here. Guess I was expecting more.

I think this dish is actually better WITHOUT the pesto.
I agree on the "color" comment above. I fixed that with Gravy Master.

Think I'll just continue to watch Rachel and stick to my own recipes!!!!

This was so good it reminded me of my Mother's. She didn't make pesto but added fresh basil and parsley and topped it with mozzarella (which is what I did with your recipe. Absolutely delizioso!! I lost her 2 years ago at age 98. Thanks for reminding me of the Thursday night family dinners with 6 of her brothers and sisters. Of course there was always a touch of lemon in everything -- baked lemon chicken, pasatelli, Easter bread, lemoncello (homemade.

I made this with store bought pesto and plain homemade dumplings since I couldn't find frozen gnocchi anywhere. It was very good. Defintely putting this in the dinner menu rotation!

This was so good, I couldn't believe it. This is even better than the traditional version. I didn't have fresh parsley or bay leaves, and I was a little short on basil leaves, but it still came out perfect. My husband isn't as adventurous as myself and he loved it as well. We're already looking forward to leftovers tomorrow:

I saw Rachael make this on her show and decided to give it a try. I wasn't sure about the combination. When I dished it out my husband said, "That looks interesting". But, he is willing to try anything once. It was excellent. Both of us were pleasantly surprised by the combination of flavors and really enjoyed the dish. I cut the ingredients in half as there were only two of us; otherwise I didn't change anything.

I couldn't wait to taste this, after watching Rachael make it. All my husband and I could say was WOW!!! It was amazing. I can't wait to make this at my next dinner party. Thanks, Rachael for another GREAT recipe.

Great recipe packed full of healthy veggies and ingredients. Tasted great and the pesto really tops the flavors off. I used storebought pesto, and we all absolutely loved the Gnocci.
