Baking asparagus in olive oil like this made the bitterness disappear. Mine were thin, so 5 minutes was all it took.

As with all her vegetables, Kathleen Daelemans has shown us how to enjoy and vegetables and cook them in a no-mess, no-fuss fashion.

This recipe is great, all my friends love it so it's one veggie we will eat in college. I've never liked the stringy-ness of asparagus but baking it makes it crisp instead. Alternatives try adding one or more of the following in the bag: parmesan cheese, spray butter, garlic, or even tabasco!
