This recipe is my favorite. It is very good and quick. My whole family love it. Served it to friends and it was a success. Rachel's recipe deserves a 5 star.

I was excited to try this recipe, but was disappointed with the bland flavor. It seems like it needs another spice or something to give it a kick. I might as well as opened up a can of spaghetti sauce and thrown some chicken in it and called it chicken cacciatore.

I tried this for the first time and throughly enjoyed it. My only suggestion would be seasoning the chicken first - mine was a bit bland.. (The chicken - not the sauce!

My family and I absolutely loved this wonderful dish! I didn't have portabella muchrooms on hand, so just used 2 4 oz. cans of regular mushrooms. I also used angel hair spaghetti, which worked fine. I sprinkled about 1/2 cup of shredded Asiago cheese on top of the finished product and it gave the dish the most wonderful flavor! My hubby was raving about it. Definitely a quick, tasty meal that is a keeper! Thanks, once again, Rachael! You have turned me into a gourmet cook! :-

I added a 15 ounce can of tomato paste toward the end because it was too water without. I also deglazed with a bit of white wine after the mushrooms were done. Freezes well too.
