this place is fantastic, so sorry that "lwntrtn" had a bad experience, cause all the times we have gone the food was fantastic, we have always gone during the day and never after dusk due to their biggest fan is my daughter who was 12 the first time we went there.

Casino El Camino is our first stop every trip to Austin. A word of warning to those who cannot handle a lot of heat..... order the peppers on the side. Made this recipe at home, and almost as good as the real thing!

The Serranos can bring a tear to the eye, while the cilantro mayo sooths. You can make these just as good at home as Casino el Camino does. I also like to add some blackened seasoning to the burger and char it just a little. Perfecto!

I have wanted to try this place since I saw the episode. The burger sounded fantastic, but the fries were what I went for. Huge disappointment. The burger was very dry and the french fries not at all like what is seen on the show. Barely edible. Maybe it was an off night, but we will not go back.

Loved this burger! The peppers make it pretty spicy but it went great with a cold beer. The 3/4-lb. Angus beef burger was cooked perfectly and done in about 25 minutes.

Casino el Camino is also a very interesting place. It's kind of dark inside but in the back patio there is a fountain and murals of ancient Meso-American art and architecture.

    Great food and atmosphere!

We tried this burger ecpecting it to be warm, and were nicely surprised! The combination of the serrano chilis and pepper jack with the cilantro mayo is amazing! You won't be disappointed if you like your stuff hot.
