Not only was this the easiest lasagna recipe I've ever made, but the best as well! I didn't have the white wine that the recipe called for and it still was delicious!

This recipe is so delicious. WHY have you taken this great chef OFF THE AIR???? Why has INA TAKEN OVER THE QUESTIONS THAT WE USED TO HAVE ON """""ASK AIDA"""""". Who would ever want to ask INA anything. Her recipes are for kids.

This is a wonderful recipe! I served it for a dinner party and got raves. After making the sauce, it didn't have enough flavor for me so I added more oregano (1T total and fennel, since my sausage had not had fennel in it. I did get confused with the no-boil noodles. I'd not used them before so used the no. suggested. I had more than a box left over, which I think means the ones I bought were half-sized and I should have used double the no. suggested. Nevertheless the lasagna was delicious.

Love this! I made it last week for my boyfriend and myself and it was delicious -- he asked me to make it again this week! We had extra sauce too, which was good on pasta later. I'm going to try it again tonight and maybe add some mushrooms to the sauce...

FYI...info for comments "too salty"...this recipe suggests using the lasagna noodles bought at stores that don't need boiling...just use from box in dry form. Solid pasta chefs know that fresh or boiled lasagna sheets have little to no salt. The chef adds salt to the boiling water. The use of the lasagna noodles that go straight from the box to the lasagna pan...no salt control. Try this delicious recipe 2 ways the next time...one with the recommended "no boil" lasagna...and the other way with boiled lasagna. Please let us folks know if the salt issue changes. I MADE THIS DISH LAST NIGHT FOR MY HUSBAND AND LEFTOVERS FOR THE KIDS, IT WAS VERY EASY TO MAKE BUT LISTENING TO SO MANY OTHERS SAY IT WAS WAY TOO SALTY I PUT ONLY 1/2 TSP. OF TABLE SALT AND STILL FOUND IT TOO SALTY. I THINK THE SAUSAGE ALONE IS SALTY ENOUGH AND WOULD NEXT TIME USE A NO SALT TOMATOES AND ADD NO OTHER SALT AT ALL.

The lasagna smelled so good! It was hard to smell it because it just made me so hungry! It was worth the wait though. My husband went back for a large second helping. I am hoping that I will be able to freeze part of it. Hopefully it will keep well. Thanks Aida!

I love this sauce and I make it for spaghetti and it's way better than any jar sauce. I've made the lasagna two times and it was good but try it as a pasta sauce and serve some crusty garlic bread on the side. Yummy!
