Made this for Easter Brunch and the family, including my in-laws loved it. I wasn't able to find Texas Toast so I substituted Thomas Breakfast Bread instead and it turned out wonderful. I also didn't have time to made it the night before and refrigerate so I made it the morning of and refrigerated for only about 2 hours - didn't seem to change the outcome as it was fabulous!

This is a great basic breakfast casserole recipe. I added sauted red onions and extra cheese and used the wheat sandwich bread that I had on hand. Everyone (including my picky 5 year old ate a second helping.

This is a fool proof, delicious recipe. In order to lighten it up, I used milk instead of half and half. I also used sour dough bread, and it turned out great. I had to cook it a little longer than the directions stated, but I'm sure that's because I didn't use half and half. It still turned out great.

Made this a few times. Great for Christmas morning. This time I added some sliced mushrooms (just the plain old white buttons to the sausage layer. Used leftover Italian bread (Emeril's recipe, made our own country sausage. A keeper - and not just for holidays anymore.

Ive made this a few times in the past. Since Xmas is coming i decided to dig this recipe up and noticed I had revised it. I use 12 eggs, 2c half and half, more onions and cheese. I also added bacon, bell peppers, red onions and tomatoes. I used the 6 slices of Texas Toast the recipe calls for and it comes out great every time. I do cook it for 45-50 min covered, then uncover for 10-15 min. Always a request for the holidays.

Very tasty casserole... I doubled the green onion and doubled the cheese as well. It was very good! Also, I recommend a "good" sausage for it, not one with a bunch of fat. I made it for a pot luck at work... everyone asked me for the recipe!

I made this for my family "gang" that ran the Clarkston, Mi. Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving. I added brocolli (par boiled, quite a bit more green onion and orange pepper. They loved it! Making it again for my niece's 21st birthday girls get-together.

this was easy and a crowd pleaser, I was able to make with regular bread because I forgot the texas toast! It was good and everyone loved it. I have shared the recipe and will make again.
