I make this all the time when I need to WOW a small group of people and don't have long to do it. This may be a no-brainer, but make sure you leave the casserole out of the fridge for a while before you put it in the over...otherwise it takes forever to cook and it comes out weird.

I have made this dish twice now for office breakfast gatherings, and everyone raves about it! I find it very easy to prepare and love the fact that I can make it the night before. For the bread, I have tried two variations: I have used the frozen garlic Texas toast in the frozen bread section of the grocery store (which adds a nice extra flavor to the dish, and I have used sliced French bread. Both came out wonderful! Everyone asks for this recipe, and there is never any left over! Thanks, Emeril!

I love this recipe!! I make this casserole EVERYtime I have to take something into work for a breakfast potluck...it is the first dish to be eaten. It is so very easy to prepare and has great flavors. I do add extra cheese.

I made this for my family and we all hated it the bread is mushy and soggy. And we all did not like the recipe, I had read all the reveiws and ratings and thought it would be a perfect dish for my family but I was sadly mistaken.

This is so good! I made it using turkey breakfast sausage and it came out great. I served it to my in-laws when they were here to stay and the whole pan was devoured! I also like that it can be made the night before and baked the next morning.

This recipe and the countless variations of it are always a hit in our house, especially on busy holiday mornings. I have a kid who refuses to eat any veggies, so I leave out the scallions. I also add an extra egg or two and instead of bread, make it using Kings Hawaiian rolls. A busy cook's best friend and easy to double or triple if you have a houseful of guests. Great for a potluck brunch as well.

People will rant and rave over this breakfast casserole. I made this recipe but I added frozen potatoes to the recipe. After I cook the sausage I add the frozen potatoes and cook until softened and season with onion powder. This is a perfect dish to serve on Christmas morning. You do all the work the evening before and place into the oven in the morning. One of my favorite breakfast recipes.
