I tried this recipe and was very disappointed. The timing is off so instead of cooking for 45min on medium, I would try for way less time. I followed this recipe word for word and ended up with a pan of burned mushy greens. Next time I make collard greens, I will look for a different recipe.

I ate at Mrs. Wilkes Boarding House in Savannah and everything was delicious. The collard greens were wonderful. I tried this recipe and was as impressed with my greens as I was with the ones at the restaurant. Now I can serve them at home and really impress my family and friends!!
