I had never made scones before and found these very easy to make. I would add another tablespoon or two of cream because the dough was a bit too dry. I also increased the bacon. :-
These have an excellent, very balanced flavor. Delicious!!

We love bacon so I added double the bacon and double the chives and poured extra cream in to get the right consistency.... YUMMMMM! This is going to be a staple in the house. They were gone as soon as they got out of the oven...

Our family loves bacon, so instead of keeping to just four slices, I cooked off bacon ends, and trimmed off the fat, WONDERFUL!!!!! I needed to add a little extra cream to get the proper texture, but if you are eating scones, you are not counting calories. Also, I used green onions from our garden. Maybe add a little aspargus?

I was looking for a budget saving way to make use of ingrediants I had on hand. This recipe not only was budget friendly, it was also suuuper fast and easy to make.

I had to bring something to a cocktail party and I wasn't sure if scones would be a good idea but they worked perfectly! Instead of making them into large scones I made them into mini-bite sized scones by simply making smaller circles (3.5in in diameter which made the perfect size scone.

I also used "Dubliner" brand Irish Cheddar Cheese which has a very sharp and almost sweet flavor to it. I used 2 cups of cheese instead of 1.5 to put in the dough. I also shredded some more and sprinkled it on top of the scones after I brushed them with buttermilk. This made the scones turn out soo deliciously! The cheese melted to the point of turning golden brownish which gave the scones a good crunch on the outside while inside the bacon, green onions and chunks and shredded bits of melted cheese hit your tastebuds. Wow= The flour to butter ratio was also perfect, it made for a butter scone that was flaky and the best part was that you didn't have to do any kneading at all. I also used buttermilk instead of heavy cream.

I highly recommend this recipe. It'll be a hit. It's like a delicious scone that tastes like a flavor-packed bacon quiche/scone in one bite with the perfect crunch on the outside and buttery flaky goodness on the inside.

I had these scones at a quaint coffee shop, and decided that when I got home I had to look for the recipe. I knew they were good when they said they sell out fast. These scones are delicious! They would be great as a side for a salad, or soup.

I had a craving for something savory and found this recipe. This was my first time making scones, and found it easy to follow. The best part was, just when they were done baking, the smell filled my whole house....And the first bite, deliscious!!! Mmm Mmm Mmm. Way to go Emeril!! It was just what I wanted!! :

Not usually a fan of Emeril recipes, I almost didn't try this. We're all glad I did. Scones usually last us a couple of days, but these went quickly due to nibbling.

Not something I make often, but they're a super treat when I do.

These were a total hit. Excellent! Definitely calls for more cream though to make the dough moist enough. Don't be afraid to splash a little more in. Yum!!!!!!!!!!!
