Pretty, easy to make, refreshing, and tasty. A crowd pleaser and one I'll make again.

I have been making this recipe for years, especially at family (holiday BBQ's. The best and funniest compliment that I received about this dessert is "Are there any drugs in this dessert"?. It really is that addictive. Paula doesn't specify, but I use salted pretzels in the recipe. It gives a nice sweet/salty flavor that I enjoy. This is a MUST TRY recipe.

My son's classroom is a nut free zone due to food allergies. This dessert was perfect for their year end celebration and the kids and adults loved it!

This is an easy recipe to convert to low sugar. We have several diabetics or people on low carb diets in our extended family so I have been making this with less sugar for years and no one can tell the difference. I use sugar free jello and splenda sweetened frozen strawberries (Kroger makes them in my area, I get sugar free cool whip for the middle and use less sugar than the recipe calls for in the crust and the filling. I have tried half sugar with a little splenda, stevia and equal spoonful blend and it worked but would not add just splenda (odd taste - but equal spoonful worked best if just adding one type of sugar substitute. We never add the pineapple. Taste exactly the same, just a little healthier.

I love it. I make it for my kid's b-day party every year. I have to make a double batch though. One for the family/Party and one for me. Lol. It's the best! Thanks Paula.

Delicious! Easy to prepare. Suggest the dessert be made the day/night before you plan to serve it so it has time to set. It was a hit at the party that I took it to and it was my first time making it. Everyone absolutely loved it.

This is a family favorite! For Memorial Day and the 4 of July I add blueberries to make it red, white and blue!
