We have been silly and buying our mix at the store for the last few years...this is much better than anything I have ever purchased. I ended up cutting the brown sugar to 1.5 cups. I agree on the comment about the fresh nutmeg...makes a world of difference. I used a disher to make into 1TBSP balls and stuck in the freezer. Easily portioned out when needed. Fantastic!

This is now my favorite drink in the whole world, honestly. I've been bringing the ingredients and sharing it with family and friend too! So good, warming, and delicious! I do agree with most of the other reviews though, I cut the amount of rum in half or it's a bit too strong for my liking. Delicious with whipped cream and a little extra sprinkling of cinnamon on top. Mmmm!

We make this every year for when we are decorating the tree. I break it up into the 2tbl amounts, wrap in saran wrap and store in the fridge so we can make it throughout the season. I like a little less rum but my husband likes the full 3oz. SO tasty and perfect on those cold nights.

Reminds me of apres ski and it's never a bad time to have one. This recipe has become a favorite this time of year and the mixture keeps very well in the refrigerator in an air tight container. Don't use anything but fresh ground nutmeg, that's the secret to the flavor, I think.

Whoa, mamma!! This was better than the flu shot. I got the flu anyway but after sipping on this, I didn't care. Next time I reduced the rum to 2 oz and that was just right fot me.
