The recipe was very balanced. The sweetness of the blackberries and sauce was nicely complimented by the tart lemon sorbet. I love this!

My picky pain in the neck husband even likes this!!!! You can make the berry sauce in advance to just throw over at the last minute. Very good.

I loved it!! Next time I'll use more than 2 star anise to give the sauce a stronger licorice flavor. It was great on vanilla ice cream too.
