After a long day at work, what better way to start Friday night than with a martini. My husband whipped these up for me and I was set for a relaxing evening with the fireplace, a movie and my honey. These were wonderful, I had bought Blue Cheese stuffed olives at the market, next time I will try to make my own.

I first heard of these blue cheese martini's in David Rosengartden's publication. I tried them out in Chicago since the seem to be more of a mid west thing and I was hooked.

WOW! I put together a batch of olives, then I made another and another! Took some to work (sans the Martini and the crew really enjoyed them. Even gave jars of olives as gifts. My friends confess that dipping into the olive jar at 2am makes a great 'midnight' snack. You just gotta try these!
