Ok, so the recipe intrigued me, but I don't eat chicken. i prepared the recipe exactly as written, except i substituted cooked potato chunks and black beans. Turned out wonderfully. Very delicious and endless variations to try out. Thanks again, Alton.

This recipe came out so well. And it was so easy. I did add half a cup of cream as well as the half cup of milk because previous recipes have said that there was too little sauce. And that was more than enough. My personal food critics rated it the best pot pie they have eaten. Thanks, Alton!

This was pretty good and very easy to make, for sure. I didn't bother doing the veggies in the oven for very long, once they were thawed I tossed them with the sauce. I also used a regular pie crust on top, it was just fine. I used a 9 by 13 pan , filled it right up. An easy way to get your veggies and have lots of leftovers too!

I made this for the second time in a month tonight, something I never, ever do. My husband is a huge pot pie fan...this will be a regular for us.

This is the best chicken pot pie I have ever eaten. Roasting the frozen veggies makes all the difference. I agree with other reviews that it didn't have a lot of sauce, could have used a little more chicken. The curry was so subtle that I didn't even taste it. But it didn't matter, it was so good.

I'm a busy Mom of two with one on the way - this is the first real dish I've cooked in months. I doubled the milk, added a bit more chicken and didn't remember to thaw the puff pastry (am I supposed too?- I just threw three frozen pieces on top. Came out perfect. Easy, wonderful comfort food, yummy. My husband could've eaten the whole thing, my three year old ate it too, five year old is too picky, but hey...I'm just sorry they're aren't any leftovers. Thanks to A. Brown!

The whole family liked this one, and I liked how easy it is to prepare. I'll definitely make this again. The curry is very subtle in the finished meal and gives a good flavor. Thanks, Alton!

I made this for a birthday dinner party and it was outstanding. Every last bit of the pot pie was gobbled up by my guests. It was so easy to make and tasted wonderful. I will definitely make this again and again.

We were skeptical, and even messed up a few times while doing this recipe, and it came out *great*. We were barely able to save some of it for dinner tomorrow! If you don't have chicken broth then a chicken bouillon cube works if you leave out the salt. We also added corn. And used an 8-by-8 Pyrex baking dish.
