This recipe was very simple to make but it did not turn out the way I had hoped. At least the dog enjoyed it.

This came out so good! I made my own homemade drop biscuits but did everything else the same. My husband said it tasted like a gourmet version of chicken fried steak. I really loved it too! Making it again tonight! This will be a regular every month!

I never made chicken fried steaks before until a friend wanted me to make it for his 50th birthday. I searched and searched for a recipe and this one was a winner all the way. Thanks Rachel...again you make me look as if I can cook!!!

Followed the recipe but it only came out okay. I added some cayenne pepper to give it flavor. I didnt care too much for the Corn Meal. I did get the breading to stick and the gravy came out but I probably wont make it again.

My first time cooking beef this way & it was very good. Served it with mashed potatoes & the biscuits. I used cubed beef steaks instead because that's just what I had. Next time, I'll use what Rachael used. My pan drippings was not enough so I added butter & the gravy turned out delicious!!

tonite i made this recipe and after reading the reviews i was anxious to
make this recipe. the chicken fried
recipe was good but the gravy needed
something. everyone in the reviews swore this was the best gravy. i did
like it but it needed something. My
husband didn't like the gravy at all.
oh well. Back to the drawing board.

I found the gravy to thicken a little too quickly. More half/half was needed which gave me more gravy than needed. Otherwise it was a good meal.

I made this for 2, neither of us ever having eaten chicken-fried steak before. I will definitely make this again. Had mashed potatoes, greens, and cornbread with it. Very satisfying dinner.
