Again another winner by Ina. The only thing I did different was rinse the rice.

So much better than regular white rice.... this actually has FLAVOR! Love it. Ina's herbed basmati rice is also great. I'll only buy basmati now.

Did change any ingredients, just added peas and carrots and it came out delicious!! The extra veggies added more bulk to the dish.

Basmati is my favorite type of rice, With this recipe I use spinach instead of parsley and I season it with a few dashes of curry and cumin. SO Good with lamb or fish.

Very delicious! The herbs make this dish. Easily the best tasting rice I've ever made!

I thought this was a decent rice recipe, especially if it's served with more standout entrées like curries or marinated meats, but it's a bit bland on its own. I'm from India, so I'm pretty picky about my rice...but I still think it lacked a good bit of flavor. Also, parsley is not at all traditional, I would definitely recommend using cilantro. If you're not used to cooking rice, or if it makes you uneasy, then this is a good, simple recipe to follow. I just personally prefer mine with a lot more flavor, spices, nuts, etc.

This rice earned raves at my dinner table. Every grain was beautifully separated and so tasty. Instead of water, I cooked my basmati rice in chicken broth which enhanced the taste even more. Ina is the best!

I was a little hesitant to make this, even so much that I also made a pot of regular plain rice. Well this rice recipe is AWESOME!! I didn't change a thing about the recipe. I will be cooking this again also!! Thank you Ina!

Best flavored rice I've ever made! Could have used just a little more liquid so will use 2 full cups next time - substituted water with chicken broth. Used 1/2 a yellow onion vs. a whole one and this was plenty. Served w/ Robert Irvine's Spicy Red Curry Chicken and was a great pairing. Cannot wait to make this again.
