    I've tried these a couple times and would like them to be a little saltier and spicier. Is saltier a word? Anyway, They fried crisp and my family loved them...it's just that I expected this terribly spicy chicken that needed the dipping saice and I ended up with a very flavorful, lightly salted, tasty chicken with a hint of spicy kick. I'll try it again and conquer this wing.

    Made these for Super Bowl and found them very disappointing. There are much better recipes than this one. FYI, the Blue Cheese was a hit though...

    I looked up this recipe in my Prime Time Emeril cookbook and the amount of blue cheese is only 4 oz. not 8 oz.

    After trying numerous other recipes from this site this one satisfied the entire family. The Blue Cheese dipping sauce was very thick and the blue cheese flavor was a littke over powering. Next time I am going to quarter the amount of blue cheese.

    I was not too impressed with this recipe. The best thing about this recipe was the Essence Seasoning that you top the wings off with. Otherwise, marinating the wings in hot sauce, does not add much taste. I prefer my wings to have a litte kick to them, so just tossed these in additional hot sauce.
