These potatoes were great !!!!! I adjusted the liquid and they were just SUPER !!!!! I figured it was a type-O when I read the recipe, so I just made the adjustment myself.....And as always your recipe is totally outstanding.....
So when are you going to be on during the day....I keep missing your show, but I just go on the internet to check out what you are doing....

I agree with the others on the part about their being too much cream. I hope this was a type-o. I fix the liquid the way the directions said I just didnt add it all to the potatoes. The flavor was good and my husband loved it, I will make it again by just cutting the liquid ingredients in half.

I made this recipe for my family, however I realized early on it called for too much liquid and I adjusted it. After adjusting the cream to fit the right level consistency for mashed potatoes, it tasted wonderful. I would not recommend you follow the directions exactly, but adjust everything to desired consistency and taste. The concept was great, but the amount of liquid required was off.

I made this for my family but not before I read the reviews, so i cut my heavy cream to 1 pint (a little over two cups and we loved them! But i also added 16 oz of cheese cuz we are cheese people, and that made it a little thicker. overall great recipe...maybe that was a typo...lol

Obviously the recipe should call for (1 pint of heavy cream, otherwise you end up with garlic-cheese mashed potatoe soup.

We prepared the recipe exactly how it was written.
We were unable to eat it as it ended up a huge expensive bowl of liquid! Very disappointed...
These recipes need to be for anyone to use.
Husband is a baker of over 30 years and has a great knowledge of cooking. What happened?

I made these potatoes and the taste was FABULOUS, but the recipe calls for WAAAAAY too much liquid. 1 QT??? That is 4 cups, and about 2 and a half to 3 cups too many for only 3 lbs of potatoes. The first time I made these I cut the liquid to 3 cups and added it anyway but it was still way too liquidy. It tasted good (cream, butter, what's not to like but I will have to play with the proportions next time I make it to get it just right.
