Absolutely amazing bread pudding! It redefined bread pudding for me -- so light, and custard-y. My guests loved it also. Better than anything I've had in a restaurant, and it was the very first time I'd even tried making one!

Have been making this recipe over and over again for several years. ALWAYS a hit! Sometimes I use ciabatta instead of baguettes and it works great. I also serve it as a brunch dish sometimes and use a bananas foster sauce instead of the whiskey sauce. Yuuummm. I love both!

This was so good and super easy to make. My entire family loved it. The whiskey sauce is a must and even tastes great on its own!

We've made this 3-4 times for family occasions (Father's Day, etc. and it has gotten devoured! Love it, love it, love it. There isn't anything I'd change about it. One time we tried using a mix of cream and lowfat milk to try and make it a little lighter/healthier and while it wasn't quite as wonderfully rich, it was still fantastic!

My husband is a dessert critic and his words were "the bread pudding was over the top". I forgot to get ready on Christmas Eve but did it first thing Christmas morning. Everyone raved. A keeper -- another set of friends on New Year's Eve and I plan to make it again!
The only change I would make is to add more pecans -- yum!

I absolutely love Bread Pudding. After a weekend of entertaining I was left with a lot of left-over bread, and I finally got the courage to attempt to make one of my favorite deserts. I spent a long time long for a recipe. I finally decided on this one because it was easy, and required ingredients that I already had in stock. The end result was nothing short of delectable. I will definitely be repeating this recipe in the immediate future.

I haven't had any luck with bread pudding recipes in the past but this one is a winner! I had cut out shapes from white bread to make tea sandwiches for a BD party so I needed to use the edges. I didn't have any raisins so I used dried apples. Instead of plating w/ the sauce I poured it over the top of the pudding after I took it out of the oven. I don't know that it could have been any better. I like the flexability and ease of the recipe. Change up the fruit, bread and liquer and you have endless possibilities
