We thought this dish was too sweet, even after halving the sugar. The potatoes also took forever to cook, despite being cut in tiny pieces. I cooked it for twice as long as recommended, and they still weren't tender (maybe because of the tomatoes?. For anyone still willing to brave the recipe, cook the potatoes separately, and add at the end.

I have made this recipe several times and I truly enjoy it.
In my experience, the prep time is over 1 hour. However, the recommended portions make for approximately 10-12 servings so the additional time is well worth it as I can freeze the leftovers.
