    This stew was easy to make, and well worth the time and effort put into making it. When I was done it looked just like the picture and tasted like a chef with much experience made it! My guests were astonished! Also, the potato pancakes added a nice touch.

    it took a while to make the potato pancakes...can't be done in 30 min...but was so worth it...really good food..i had some friends over and we had a great night.

    I am a vegetarian, but my husband is a meat eater. This was a great recipe because the potato pancakes made him forget it was good for him. I didn't think the pancakes were as messy as everyone says but they are more like potato lumps until they are half fried.

    This recipe was fantastic and really easy. The stew was great but the potatoe pancakes were amazing! I have a picky young son so I try to find parts of recipes that he will try (he would call the veggie stew "Yuck" stew. He loved the pancakes. The flavors in the stew didn't overpower the yummy cheese in the pancakes. Awesome.

    I'm not a vegetable fanatic, but its so easy to make with ZERO fat, and i just used up lots of canned veges i had around without any loss of flavour. My husbands eats so much of it i make it in HUGE batches!!!

    I was not impressed with the Veggie Stew...the potato & cheese pancakes were good, I even added fresh grated jalapenos to them
