    My husband and his brother loved these steaks. I really liked the ritz crackers just before frying. I will always use this recipe when making country fried steak. I also made white gravy to top it..

    The recipe is excellent and it reminds me of a good old southern steak. I also take the steak and smoother in gravy, that's just the southern in me. Delicious.
    However, the recipe is a little wasteful. So the second time I made the steak, I cut back on all of the ingredients.

    This is the best chicken fried steak I've ever had. I'm from the south, so that's saying a lot! My husband makes this for me and it's the best!

    recipe a little wasteful in my opion.
    didn't need recipe amounts of the buttermilk or crackers.
