The gravy is so tasty. This recipe is a go to for a wonderful weeknight dinner. Just do your chopping ahead of time and set aside...perfect!

This might be THE BEST chicken and mushroom gravy recipe. I chopped everything ahead of time so all my ingredients would be ready. But this is such a fantastic sauce! The meatiness of the mushrooms pairs really well with the strong woody rosemary and balances out with the chicken! LOVE THIS!

True Rachael Ray's recipes sometimes can take longer than 30 minutes, however, speed, accuacy and recipe success are going to be based on experience.

I thought the recipe tasted good. In fact the mushroom sauce was very tasty. However, the 30 minute meal part is incredibly misleading. Even with help in the kitchen, this took about an hour. Like another review said, if, like her on the show, you have the ingredients pre-cut and set out for you, it is much easier and takes a lot less time, but she should count that part in the prep time. My reduction did not take 1 minute to reduce with the red wine or with the broth. I don't think I did anything wrong, but maybe I did. Anyways, it was tasty, but not a quick meal.

Love this recipe. I personally love the grill taste along with the mushroom sauce. Used fresh white mushrooms instead but still steeped it in broth. I used one cube of chicken and one cube of beef to make it stronger in taste and more flavorful. Used oregano instead of Rosemary since my husband doesn't like how prickly Rosemary can be. For the chicken, I marinated it in olive oil, Oregano, Salt, Pepper, and Onion Powder (Love Onion Powder, I add it to everything. After I got done with the sauce, I added the undercooked chicken back into the dish and let it sit for a while before dinner time; by doing this, it is MUCH more flavorful. I apologize for changing so much of the recipe but I am used to tweaking recipes to make it my own. Thanks for the recipe.

Was looking for a great tasting meal without spending too much money. Found this recipe and WOW, it is really good. Aside from the porcini mushrooms being a little pricey, this dish was everything I was looking for. The family loved it! I did make a minor change by decreasing the salt seasoning when the portobello mushrooms were added and used a little soy sauce instead. Thank you Rachel for a great recipe!
