You can really taste the lemon and herbs all throughout the chicken. Just make sure to season it enough before cooking.

This chicken was perfectly cooked all the way throught, white and dark meat. My entire family loved it. The potatoes complimented the meal perfectly, and I make it often since I've tried it.

I don't roast chickens very often at all and this one looked simple. The entire prep took a matter of minutes. I used a smaller 2-3 lb. chicken since it's just the two of us so I cut the cooking time to an hour. It came our moist and perfect with the meat falling of the bones. It is incredibly flavorful for just stuffing the cavity of the bird. Along with the baby potatoes, I used some sweet potato chunks. We had about 1.5-2 cups of shredded chicken leftover.

My chicken was a little bigger than 5 lbs. Stuffed it with the lemons, garlic and herbs just as the recipe directs. My meat thermometer didn't hit 165 degrees until it had been in 1 1/2 hours at 420 degrees (I also have and oven thermometer. When I took it out, I let it sit as directed. The thigh was pink and while succlent and delicious, it was under done. The head of garlic on the inside wasn't cooked. I know the "stuffing" flavored the juices in the pan but as far as I could tell, didn't do a thing for the flavor of the chicken. Love you Tyler, but next time I will go with my experience and cook the chicken longer. Perhaps our thermometers read differently.

I made this dish for my husband and he raved about it. The chicken and potatoes had great flavor, and the chicken was exptremely moist. Addiding this one to my recipe box.

I don't know why I tried this....maybe because I could use one of my million lemons from my tree. It was average, mediocre and I definitely wouldn't make it again!

This recipe was very easy to follow. It served enough for my three person family and then a little left over. I had fun preparing the meal since it is a little more complex then the everyday open the box meal.

As easy as it looked on TV. I noticed that the television recipe called for mushrooms. When I made this recipe, I added both potatoes and mushrooms.
