This was incredibly flavorful and mouthwatering. I was worried that the horseradish would be overwhelming, but it wasn't overly sharp, just delicious. I found that I preferred using only 1-2 slices of roast beef because otherwise the sandwich was a little too moist, but that may have been because the only pumpernickel loaf I could find was quite small and thinly sliced. In spite of this minor setback, this sandwich made an amazing packed lunch, and my only real gripe is that all those onions and horseradish made my breath a little bit foul.

This sandwich is so incredibly delicious! My local grocery store didn't have watercress so I used arugala instead, the peppery flavor really complements the horseradish mayo. This is definately a new fave in my house!

I made this for my husband and myself and we thought it was just delicious! I used a tiny bit more of the yogurt without straining it and a little bit of the horseradish juice to thin it out a little bit and it was just fabulous! My store was out of both watercress AND arugula so we used boston butter lettuce instead...absolutely wonderful!

This really makes a great sandwich. The horseradish sauce is so good that my husband ate the leftovers as a dip. Be sure to squeeze all the liquid out of the horseradish!!

This sandwich is delicious. You don't miss a thing by using the yogurt and just a bit of mayo. I used Greek yogurt and light mayo-it was fabulous. A mouthwatering, savory, perfect lunch.
