I have made this cheesecake several times, and have always received rave reviews. It's decadent, yet light and lemony. Last year while as a house guest, I confess to buying a high-end, but store-bought, cheesecake; however, I made the sauce by hand, in which the thyme adds a wonderful layer of flavor to an already delicious flavor. Take the time and effort to make this dessert from start to finish. It is well worth the effot.

This is one of the best cheesecakes I have ever made. When ever I go somewhere they always ask me to brint this along.

I enjoyed making this recipe a lot. I didn't think the crust was much to speak of, but the filling was fantastic and not too difficult to make. I even made my own creme fraiche. My wife, who doesn't like cheesecake, really loved this too.
