I thought this pork was delicious and very quick and easy to make.

I did not bother to do the whole sandwich but just the pork and plantain which I served along with black beans and rice.

    This is a keeper.

I used this recipe for a cuban inspired dinner party. I had some vegetarians coming, so I substituted the pork and ham for a nice portabello cap and cooked exactly the same as the pork. Just left the pickles off as well. Everyone commented on how good the sandwiches were, including the veggie version.

Cuban food is by far one of the most tasty on the Caribean. Sure most of their recipe come from Spain and Africa, however the twist giving by the Cuban people is just fantastic!!

    Love the fries bananas.

Pool side this is one of my families favorite dishes. I cook up extra and envite friends and extended family over for this meal. IT IS SO YUMMY! I have found though that if I cut my plantains up to look like french fries that no child (yet anyway will turn them down, and the mojito's are so refreshing!

I am cuban american and was looking for a recipe with cuban flavor(but not necessarily a traditional dishto serve to my "anglo" friends and introduce them to cuban food. Th pork tenderloins had very authentic flavor and my friends were incredibly impressed.

The pork in this sandwich had so much flavor, I had left overs for days! I didn't use most of the extra ingredients in it, because the tenderloin was just incredible. Everyone loved them. I am going to make them again tonight!
