We had friends over for a holiday get together. One friend was raised on the Washington coast and had access to the best fresh salmon & restrauants that knew how to properly cook wonderful salmon dishes. She no longer lives on the coast & never orders salmon because it is never prepared to her liking. She raved about this recipe, had seconds and asked for the recipe. She even called her mother to tell her about her "find" and her mother also wants this recipe. It was truly delicious and easy to prepare. Thanks Tyler! Once again you didn't fail us.

love it!! salmon was tender and flavorful, the crust was crispy. Definitely will make it again. I didn't know salmon can be this delicous!!

I don't like to eat mint leaves, so i didn't add it into my cucumbers.

The cucumber salad is great and looks very elegant. Add 1 or 2 few drops of sesame oil to enhance the sesame flavor.

By far the best salmon receipe I've ever tried. I make it for company - an impressive presentation - the sesame seeds make a wonderful crust. Tyler, you're a star!

I've made this twice and both times regretted the sesame seeds. Something there does not work for me. I'd let the cucumber, vinegar, pepper and vinegar macerate for at least an hour - gives the cucumbers a wonderful flavor.

I have prepared this dish numerous times for family & friends and get rave reviews. It's so simple, but looks very elegant on the plate with the cucumber salad. The sesame seed crust on the salmon is crunchy & wonderful.
