I loved the steaks, and the Spinach and Cheese cakes!! It all tasted so good, and I was impressed that "I" made it! ; More importantly, my 2 year old twins loved the spinach & cheese cakes too! :

    Thanks Rachael!!!

I made a prime rib dinner and needed a green side so I went with the spinach cakes. I followed the recipe exactly, but included a 1/2 c of ricotta cheese, per some of the suggestions. They really turned out good. Just had the last two for lunch, they make great left overs. I think I will make them again. They weren't my husband's favorite, but what do you expect when you give a guy prime rib? He'll eat the meat ten fold and leave the vegetables alone.

Good recipe but on the show she browns the steaks in the pan and then finishes cooking them in the over. I was not able to cook the steaks in the pan in the given amount of time and wound up having to put them in the oven anyway. Had I known, I would've put them on the grill after browning them. Pretty much wasted my meat.

the steaks were great but i should have drained the pan before making the glaze, way too much glaze - way way too much.

I make them all the time. I do use herb bread crumbs, and good fresh parmaesan. I also add a bit more cheese and onion than the recipe calls for.

I only did the Steak portion of this receipe and it was unbelievable! I had never cooked with wine before and the sauce was just mouthwatery! With the flavors from the seasoning and the bacon, the sauce made the meat more flavorful. It was a hit with the whole family, even my mom and grandfather like it! It was like making a formal dinner without the formal price! I will be making this again! Thanks Rachel for always saving me from slaving all day/night in the kitchen!
