    Loved this---just love carrots anyway. My aunt used to make coleslaw almost exactly like this---with mayo & pineapple, but w/o the raisins. So next time I'm going to try making a coleslaw, maybe with a bit more shredded carrots than usual, and follow Ina's recipe for everything else.

    Ina finding your recipe for Carrot Salad meant so much to me and to my family! Our Mom was a great cook but didn't always use a recipe. So I am trying to duplicate some of our family favorites wishing she could be magically alive to tell me what she used!!! Your carrot salad is just like Mother's salad and I cried when I tasted it!!! That will definitely be in our family cookbook!!! Thank you Ina... you're the BEST!!!

    I have all of Ina's cookbooks and LOVE her recipe but this one was AWFUL. I followed the recipe word for word in her Back to Basics Cookbook, which is different than this recipe. Her cookbook's recipe calls for too much salt and pepper. It was awful. Maybe Ina revised the recipe to this one and this one is better but DON'T follow the recipe in her Back to Basics Cookbook. You will be so disappointed as I was. Sorry, Ina.
